A Great Deal on the Clean & Green Club

You’ve told us that we need to make membership in the value packed Clean & Green Club more affordable. So after some number-crunching and reconfiguring, we’ve brought the price down to only $250 for a full year, or $25.95 per month. Yup, when you buy a full year in one payment, you get all this for $4.80 per week. You could pay that much for a single cup of fancy-pants coffee!

And there’s no commitment required: If you don’t think we’re delivering the promised value, simply cancel and receive a refund for the unused portion of your membership (full refund if you cancel between 30-45 days; you must try it at least one full month to determine whether it has value for you).

Most similar programs range from $495 to $1295 per year-but just as Shel offers far more value in his books than many comparable titles, he wants to do the same in his membership program. Shel has made this so affordable because he wants to give you the benefit of the treasure-trove of knowledge shared by some of the top experts in both marketing and helping the environment. And yes, there’s a bit of an ulterior motive: Shel wants YOU to help
change the world, and if he can help you acquire the skills to do it, the world will take a shorter path to that higher plane.

Does Visibility Marketing Ever Serve a Purpose? Part 2:
Frugal/Green Marketing Tip, July 2010

Last month, we looked at the incredible effectiveness of visibility marketing in advancing social causes. Can it also advance a for-profit business, and do so without buying enormous amounts of expensive advertising? Can small businesses take advantage of this kind of messaging?

Hear and Meet Shel

* SolarFest, in Tinmouth, Vermont (July 16-18). I’m speaking on Sunday, July 18, 2 pm: “Communicate the Value in Your Values – and Thrive: Effectively Marketing Your Social/Environmental Commitment.” This is a wonderful event; I attended several years ago, and you can read about that year’s festival here:
For this year’s,

* Wednesday. July 21 at 5pm ET/2 pm PT, Dave Mathison from Be The Media interviews me about green guerrilla marketing.

* Friday, August 6, 1:35 pm ET/10:30 a.m. ET (and Arizona time, which is where Hollis is), Hollis chapman interviews me over Blog Talk Radio on Green Guerrilla Marketing.

* Boston GreenFest 2010 takes place August 19-21, 2010, and I’ll be on the program (don’t know yet exactly when). One of the cool things about this event will be a display of cars that traveled 100 miles (from Greenfield, MA, near me) on a single gallon of gas.

* October 2, I’m speaking at the second annual Self-Publishing Book Expo in New York City,

* October 12 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT: My third annual presentation to the MUSE Online Writers Conference. This time,

Friends Who Want to Help You

* One of my favorite books on how to get publicity over new media is Be the Media by Dave Mathison. Dave is branching out into online and in-person courses, very reasonably priced. While it’s a bit of hyperbole to call his three social media courses a university, it’s likely to be some very good training. Judge for yourself at:
